Cancer is a symptom of a toxic body. Everything you put into your body is either causing disease or helping you to fight disease. A healthy organic, plant-based diet full of cancer-fighting antioxidants and phytochemicals detoxifies the body and naturally shrinks tumors and kills cancer cells with no side effects, and only benefits. Chemotherapy is toxic and has a 98% failure rate. You can’t fight toxic with toxic.
The Anti-Cancer Diet is all about living your best life at your ideal weight, eating delicious food and never feeling deprived. You’ll sleep well, be healthy and energized, and loving life!
The Anti-Cancer Diet has just 3 simple rules:
- No foods or beverages that contain cholesterol
- No artificial colors/flavors/sweeteners/preservatives
- Choose “organic” products as often as possible
Always look for these items on nutrition labels and eliminate the unhealthy ingredients and add organic as much as you can. When you do this, pounds will drop off and your health and energy will skyrocket.
Cholesterol is found only in animal fats which are 100% fat with no nutrients, as well as being unhealthy and toxic to eat. Your body makes all the cholesterol you need naturally in your liver. Greatly reducing vegetable oils is also beneficial because they are 120 calories per tablespoon, as well as being 100% fat with zero nutrients. They are empty calories that add weight fast without filling you up. You could eat a large apple or banana for fewer calories than in just a single tablespoon of oil. In moderation, a drizzle of olive oil on salads or breads won’t hurt.
Artificial colors/flavors/sweeteners found in sodas and other commercial beverages, candies and junk foods are toxic, converting to nasty things like formaldehyde in the body and causing many problems including: depression, allergies, headaches, dizziness, chest pain, fatigue, brain damage, seizures, nausea, IBS/IBD, Crohn’s disease, genetic defects, tumors, bladder cancer, and many other types of cancers and diseases.
Here are 20 reasons why The Anti-Cancer Diet is better than our standard, conventional way of eating:
|The Anti-Cancer Diet||Conventional Eating|
|Antioxidants||Hormones, Free radicals|
|Carbs+Protein = Energy||Fat+Protein = Lethargy|
|Fast Metabolism||Slow Metabolism|
|Green food||Dead food|
|Low calorie, eat more||High calorie|
|Probiotics||Pathogens = Toxicity|
Looking down the list of benefits of The Anti-Cancer Diet, it sounds like the dream diet, and it is! Looking at the list of conventional eating sounds like a nightmare, and it is. Because of this, there are very few people left in America who are not overweight, sick and suffering the many effects of eating an unhealthy diet. If you eat crap, you will feel like crap (and maybe look like crap, too)!
The Anti-Cancer Diet also resolves problems like constipation, acid stomach, allergies, arthritis, pain and inflammation, blood pressure, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, migraines, skin conditions, irritable bowel, fatigue, mood swings, insomnia, and much more…the list is endless. It even resolves problems from head to toe that you may not associate with diet such as dry eyes, bleeding gums, sensitive teeth, toenail fungus…
As you’ll soon discover for yourself, eating this way is the healthiest, most natural, energizing and fulfilling way to eat.
Here are more details:
Alkaline vs. Acidic – Foods are classified as either acid-forming or alkaline-forming. All foods and beverages that come from animals are acid-forming in the human body causing inflammation, degeneration, and chronic disease. The body creates fat cells to attempt to protect you from the acid contributing to weight gain. Disease, including cancer, incubates in an acidic environment and heals in an alkaline environment. Plant foods are alkaline causing good health and regeneration of vital cells and organs in the body.
Anti-inflammatory – Plant foods are anti-inflammatory; animal foods are inflammatory causing pain from head to toe. The medical industry agrees that the root of all chronic disease is inflammation. Since plant foods are anti-inflammatory, they can cure problems if you substitute them for foods that cause inflammation and pain. Any disease ending in “-itis” (meaning inflammation) can be cured with a plant-based diet.
Antioxidants vs. Hormones – Plant foods have antioxidants which protect against cell damage and cancer. Meat and dairy products don’t contain any antioxidants, but they do contain hormones and proteins which can cause cancer. Antioxidants from plants protect everything from your brain, to your eyesight, to your heart and your skin. But don’t get your antioxidants from supplements (which can be toxic) — you must eat the actual fruits and vegetables to see the health benefits!
Antibacterial vs. Bacteria – Plants are naturally antibacterial so when you prepare and cook vegetables, beans, grains and starches you don’t have to worry about germs and bacteria. Animal foods are full of bacteria and viruses, such as e.Coli found in beef and salmonella found in chicken and eggs.
Electrolytes vs. Deficiencies – Plant foods contain electrolytes (minerals); meats do not. The acidity in meat causes minerals to be leached from bones causing bone loss.
Energy vs. Lethargy – Plant foods are full of complex carbohydrates for energy. That’s why athletes always “carbo-load” before their activities. Food is fuel and carbs are the body’s preferred source of energy. The body only runs on fat or protein if it is forced to from a lack of carbohydrates, but this causes damage to the kidneys and liver. Animal foods have no carbs, but do contain saturated fat that causes lethargy, because the body has to go through extra steps to convert fat into energy.
Fast Metabolism vs. Slow Metabolism – Plant foods are high in complex carbohydrates increasing your energy and metabolism, while animal foods are high in fat which slows down your metabolism. Even “lean” meats are still too high in fat content. The body uses carbs right away for energy, but it has to go through extra steps to be able to use fat for energy.
Fiber vs. Cholesterol – Plant foods are high in fiber, keeping your arteries, cells, and colon clean; whereas animal foods are high in saturated fat and cholesterol which clogs your arteries, cells, and colon. Despite millions of Americans taking cholesterol-lowering statin drugs, heart attack and stroke, are still the #1 leading cause of death in the U.S. The real solution is to eliminate cholesterol from your diet, because the body makes all the cholesterol it needs naturally in your liver.
Freedom vs. Addictions – A plant-based diet allows you to have all your favorite foods like burgers, tacos, chili, pizza, ice cream and muffins, just in the plant-based versions using meatless and dairy-free alternatives which eliminate addictive ingredients like animal hormones and casomorphins.
Green food vs. Dead food – Plants are full of life-giving phytonutrients, chlorophyll, oxygen, and antioxidants. Meat is dead animal flesh full of toxins and pathogens. Eggs are dead chicken embryos. Why do we find these foods appealing or appetizing in the first place?
Hydrating vs. Dehydrating – Fruits and vegetables are approximately 90% water, so even if you don’t drink enough water, you’ll be getting enough naturally. If you’re on a high-protein diet, you may end up chronically dehydrated because the kidneys have to use more water to metabolize the nitrogen in protein, and cells can become water-depleted causing cramping.
Large portions vs. Small portions – A plant-based diet allows you to eat more and weigh less so you never feel deprived or weighed down and always have steady energy. On a plant-based diet you lose weight quickly and easily without cravings or suffering. It is all about abundance, not deprivation. Conventional diets are calorie restrictive so you have to depend on willpower leaving you hungry and grouchy.
Low Calorie vs. Calorie Restrictive – A plant-based diet helps keeps us slim and prevents obesity. When you eat a plant-based diet you can eat more volume of food and weigh less. For example, there are 174 calories in 8 ounces of potatoes vs. about 568 calories in 8 ounces of beef. Animal foods are high in fat, saturated fat and calories. A low fat diet will also prevent Type 2 diabetes.
Nutrition vs. Malnutrition – Vitamins and minerals come from the soil and plants, so it’s best to get them straight from the source. Vitamin supplements are a waste of money if you’re eating wrong because it’s the saturated fat, cholesterol, hormones, heme iron, excess protein, bacteria, viruses and other pathogens in animal-based foods that are making us sick. We can’t take pills, whether vitamins or medications, to counteract the inflammatory, toxic and degenerative effects of eating animal foods. Malnutrition is a result of eating wrong whether you are underweight, normal weight, or overweight.
Probiotics vs. Pathogens – Plant-based foods contain probiotics and prebiotics which maintain a healthy gut environment. Animal-based foods contain numerous pathogens that feed bad bacteria in the gut promoting disease. In the next chapter you’ll read more about all the toxins contained in meat, eggs, and dairy products.
Regenerative vs. Degenerative – Plant foods are regenerative. They nourish and hydrate the body with vitamins and minerals, fiber and water. On the other hand — meat, eggs, and dairy products are all acidic causing degeneration of your bones, organs, joints and senses. Plant foods renew, repair and heal the body. Eating plant foods works far better than any medication or vitamin supplement to regain health. These foods feed good bacteria in your gut keeping your immune system strong. They cause your body to age slower and rejuvenate faster by reducing oxidative stress and cellular damage with antioxidants.
Regularity vs. Constipation – Plant foods always contain fiber which is what keeps us regular. Animal foods have no fiber which causes constipation.
Satisfaction vs. Hunger – You can eat all you want on a whole foods, plant-based diet, getting all the fiber and nutrients you need, so you won’t get the urge to binge on junk foods.
Sustainable vs. Unsustainable (yo yo) – A plant-based diet is healthy for life versus conventional diets which you can only do for a short period of time causing the yo-yo dieting effect.
Unprocessed vs. Processed – All dairy products and most meat products are processed foods. Plant foods: Greens/Vegetables, Fruits/Nuts, Beans/Legumes, Potatoes/Whole Grains, Herbs/Spices are unprocessed whole foods that we get directly from the earth, made by nature. Whenever anything is processed and refined, separated from the fiber, it becomes unhealthy and toxic to the body, such as refined sugar, alcohol, oil, table salt, protein powders and vitamin supplements.
